Fast rising Ghanaian rapper, Amerado Burner has poured out his displeasure about how negativity sells more than positivity in the country.
According to Amerado Burna, it is about time Ghanaians fuel their energies to promote positivity into the music industry to than entertaining negativity.
He contiinued to say that, Ghanaians always wait for artistes to do mistakes in their career so that they troll him/her but feel reluctant to promote their works.
”Mostly the A-list artists are made up of the likes of Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie. To me it is unacceptable because Nigerians channel their energies to promote their musicians, thus their talents always dominate headlines with their crafts.”
”When it comes to international award schemes, Nigerian musicians always dominate the list but the number of Ghanaian musicians mostly found in the same lists is not encouraging at all.”
“Social media trends have blinded the eyes of Ghanaians making it impossible for them to recognize the talent the country has but are always eager to promote negative trends.”
”But I also blame the media for also part-taking in these negative trends.” He said.
“If the media and Ghanaians on social media focus on upcoming talents, Ghanaians will dominate the international market”. He concluded.
